Equipment Description
The Heavy Duty Series capacitors, in tubular dry-type enclosures, are the core of the ATP Factorix and Factorix-H capacitor banks.
They cover a wide range of power ratings and nominal voltages at 50 or 60 Hz (see catalog). The capacitors are designed to operate under the most demanding installation conditions. Design, manufacturing, and testing processes ensure durable and highly reliable equipment.
In addition, the capacitors feature nitrogen gas cooling technology, a high-performance, harmless, and non-flammable cooling system.
Applications
They are mainly used for reactive power compensation in installations with fixed or variable loads (capacitor banks). Main applications include:
